GETZVILLE, N.Y., April 24, 2019 – Columbus McKinnon Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCO), a leading designer and manufacturer of motion control products, technologies, and services for material handling, will be exhibiting its range of motion control products and crane components at the 2019 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) being held at NRG Park in Houston, May 6-9. Visitors to booth 4309 will be able to explore the Company’s hazardous location products including Magnetek wireless controls, STAHL CraneSystems wire rope hoists, and a range of hoist and rigging products from CM, Budgit Hoists, and Chester Hoist.

“Magnetek’s rugged wireless controls are designed to meet customer specifications, reducing internal engineering and manufacturing costs, improving time to market, and enhancing equipment performance,” said Norm Davis, product manager for Magnetek radio controls. “Our hazardous location product portfolio, including wireless controls and wire rope hoists, allows for reliable operation, high efficiency, and increased safety in applications and industries with potentially explosive environments.”

The line of hazardous location wireless controls is safe to use in potentially explosive locations with gas or vapors, which allows users the flexibility to operate farther away from a potentially dangerous situation than wired alternatives. Wireless controls are available with ATEX, IECEx, and NEC certifications designed for precision control of off-shore oil and gas applications.

Columbus McKinnon offers custom-made STAHL CraneSystems SH Ex wire rope hoists with lifting technology and components that comply with NEC approvals for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C & D hazardous locations with Temperature Class T4 for reliable operation, high efficiency, and increased safety. SH EX is also available with ATEX and IECEx approvals for EX Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21, or Zone 22 locations and with spark-resistant features such as coated hooks, brass wheels, and brass drop lugs on trolley.
